I knew from the moment you stepped foot into the Managers Office you would give it your all, just like you did as a player for many clubs including us!

Thanks for trying Stuart. The buzz around the place every time we hear about you returning is always electric and I hope we'll experience it again one day. You're a true city legend. It didn't work out like we all hoped it would but that's life. Nobody has ever questioned your commitment along the way. Perhaps sometimes your attachment to the club worked against you. I honestly think you'd have have stood a much better chance with a more experienced assistant behind you but that's another story.

In life there is no such thing as failure Stuart, merely negative feedback. When you have had some time out and had an opportunity to reflect on the last two and a half years you will come back a stronger person. Its a great shame things didn't work out but thankyou for sticking to your word and doing what was best for the football club. Stu- what a gent. My niece was being bullied about having ginger hair. You personally signed a walking in a ginger wonderland t-shirt for her and told me to tell her to hold her head high and be proud. She is a much more confident person now and i thank-you for that. I wish you all the best in the future and hope you will still have a soft spot for the Bantams!!!!
