why did no one question mccall when he said in front of lawn he had £300 to spend on a GK? at the fans forum.

4th biggest spenders was to put pressure on stuart and take away from a certain other. Show me the facts where it says we are 4th biggest LMAO

PIED PIPER comes to mind.

Where would we find these facts though Harrogate? We can only go by what we are told by the club, we don't have access to privilaged information.

I heard Hanson made more money playing for Guiseley and working part time in the co-op, the figure of £250 a week was quoted.

Quite often there are layers on a players income (note the term is different from salary). They get sponsorhip, appearance money, win bonus, other bonuses, and a bonus if the team achieves a certain target, as I understand it. However if someone in the know can prove disprove the above, then please clarify.

Colbeck can't possibly have taken a pay cut. If he had we would not have been entitled to a transfer fee. To be able to get a fee for a player on week to week terms the club have to have offered a contract that was the same money or more than their previous one.

others asked about the budget so there was no need for me to ask, it was made quite clear we only had £300 to spend on a goal keeper for instance.

You have, very obviously, been privy to more "inside " information than most of us and know what was available to bring players in, but for us mere mortals, we only know what is released by the club. Lets now see what your opinions are when you are'nt related to the manager?? Bet you are on the new managers case with great speed!

1. Stuart looked happier than he has for ages.

2. If the reports of low wages are correct, good! I want low (very) basic wages and good (very) incentives for wins, points, league position etc.
